Architectural Control The Village at Nags Head Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is charged with the enforcement of the protective covenants and development standards within the Village. In addition, The Ridges Board of Directors implements the architectural control provisions of the protective covenants for The Ridges by reviewing these applications before they come before the ACC. The ACC will not consider for approval applications that The Ridges Board has disapproved. The ACC may, however, disapprove applications that The Ridges BOD has approved. Whether you are repainting the exterior of your house the same or different color or remodeling or reconstructing the exterior (e.g., including shutters, awnings, doors), you must follow the Architectural Review procedures for The Village at Nags Head. You must submit an application for Architectural Review to the Property Manager. The Property Manager will forward your application to the Board of Directors of The Ridges for approval. Upon approval by the Board, the Property Manager will then submit the application to the ACC. The Property Manager will notify you whether both the Board and ACC have approved your application. Exterior Paint Approval * Follow the procedures provided by Exterior Paint Approval * Approved colors are those on the Approved Paint Color List and those on the Additional 2016 Colors list, EXCEPT that the following colors are not approved for The Ridges. * Colors not on the approved lists may be requested, but may not be approved.
